Buzz on Bees Tour is recommended for adults
One of our team will guide you through our special tour area where you will enjoy
- Learning about the life of the honeybee.
- How bees produce honey and wax.
- other products honeybees create.
- How important bees are to us.
- A brief description of the hive components and role of the beekeeper.
- How honey is extracted and packed into jars(video).
At the end of the tour each paying adult will receive a complimentary 250gm jar of multiflora honey.
Duration: 30 – 45 minutes
Minimum No: 6 people
Cost: $15.00 per adult (12 years and over).
Seniors: $12.50
Children under 12 are free but must be accompanied by an adult over 14 years for supervision.

School Educational Tour is recommended for primary, intermediate and high schools.
Our tours are presented with the age of the group taken into consideration. The following topics are covered; however, each tour is personalized, and content can vary according to individual requirements.
- The life cycle of the honeybee.
- Life inside the beehive and bee behavior.
- The role of the beekeeper and how to extract a frame of honey in the demonstration extractor.
- Products made from honeybees-honey, beeswax, pollen, propolis and royal jelly.
- Live bee display.
- Honeycomb tasting – just the way bees eat honey.
Duration: 30 – 45 mins
Cost: $6.00 per child
Maximum numbers of children per class: 30
(Larger numbers can be divided into 2 sessions)

Children’s Holiday Candle Making Class
Each child makes their own rolled beeswax candle to take home.
Each child creates 6 – 7 rolled candles in various sizes.
Duration: 20 – 30mins
Time: 10:30am daily
Cost: $10 per child
Number of Children: From 6 – 20
